Atlantic Premium Shutters For Aesthetic And Security

http://www.hooksandlattice.com/atlantic-premium-shutters.html

After the incident at my grandmother’s house last week, we have also been extra careful at home. We make sure that all doors and windows are locked. We also double check the alarm system to ensure that it is working. Our neighbors think that it is an overkill but as what the infamous phrase goes, “better safe than sorry.” For the first time, I understood why my grandfather was so meticulous in regards to the security of the house. When he was still alive, he would check and check all possible entries of burglars. I also remember how he would reprimand me every time I forgot to lock the windows and the doors. I thought he was just being paranoid but now I know that he was not. He was just trying to protect us.

Perhaps he was pleased to know that we have been protecting the house very well. Adding the exterior shutters was a good choice. The window shutters are the best purchase I bought online. My grandmother, aunt and even my mom, think so too. My aunt also plans to buy exterior shutters for her home. She asked me to look for the best design that would complement her windows and after showing her the best exterior shutter designs which I picked, she agreed on the Atlantic Premium shutters. The Atlantic Premium shutters are the first functional exterior shutters which do not only beautify your home but also protect it. Moreover, the materials used for this particular design are tested and proven to be durable and will definitely stand the test of time.

I was wrong to think that my grandfather was only overly protective and paranoid. He was only thinking of our welfare and protection. I know that wherever he is right now, he is still trying to protect us in any way he can.

Safety One Of The Top Priorities Of Every Family

The safety of our family is one of the top priorities of every family oriented person.  It is what we always pray for especially when we are not with them. However, no matter how we try hard, there are a lot of people who want to cause harm to our love ones.

Yesterday, when I visited my grandmother, her nurse told me that they were almost burglarized two nights ago. If not for their neighbor’s ten year old son who was studying at that time told his mom that there seem to be someone at our veranda and was trying to open one of the windows my grandmother and her nurse could have been hurt. Our brave neighbors called the attention of the homeowners’ security team who were patrolling nearby to check our house. Thankfully, no harm was done. My grandmother and her nurse were not even aware of what happened until the security team informed them of the attempted burglary. We are also thankful that the exterior shutters which were recently installed are of a big help. Since were made sure to be locked every night, the burglar had a hard time breaking in. Except for a small scratch on the lower portion of the fiberglass bahama style shutters which the burglar attempted to pry open, the exterior shutter is still in good condition.

Adding the fiberglass bahama style shutters to all the windows was a good, wise and practical decision. The amount of money spent on the shutters is nothing compared to the security and safety of the family. Moreover, after that incident, security is tight. The homeowners association agreed to add two more members in the security team which means an increase on the maintenance and security fees. The alarm systems were also double checked if they are still working.
