Selecting the best shutters for your home is the important consideration. Vinyl board and batten shutters of Hooks and Lattice are highly durable, offer a simple and stylish look for your windows and is best alternative than wood. The good thing about vinyl shutters is, it will not crack or fade. Unlike wood, these are easy to install because it they are usually included with "Shutter Lock" fasteners and you can choose 20 different colors that can match the theme of your home, kindly check hooks and lattice, and look for exterior shutters. They have actually a diverse collection of shutters.

When it comes to choosing the best shutters at home, size does really matter. Using the wrong size shutters can really distract the look rather than enhancing your curb appeal, and your window. So the size of the shutter should match the height of the window or door you are trying to accentuate.

Installing vinyl board and batten is like hanging a picture in your living room. All you need to do is to line up the shutter next to your window and adjust it so it will really look nice and sturdy. There were hinges on the shutters and mark them with the pencil  where you need to draw holes for screw to fasten your shutters. Use a driller to secure the shutter to your house with screws. Do the same procedure on other windows and make sure you are consistent in installation just like the pro did it. If you have problem installing it you can watch DIY videos available in youtube.com

  1. This is truly a great idea. I am considering louvered design for my house. My inspiration is French houses because of its romantic and classy appeal. I have seen custom blinds from other houses in the neighborhood and I fell in love with them.
