Modernize Your Old House With Classy Window Shutters

Owning your own dream house is probably one of the best things that can happen to anyone. Not everyone can afford to pay the rent of their apartment how much more own one. Just like everyone I also dream of having my own house. I do not like a big house. A small cottage will do. It should have large glass windows to let the bright sun in. It should also have a window box. To protect the windows, exterior window shutters should be installed. It should not just be any exterior window shutter but a Louvered Exterior Cedar Shutters.

But since I still cannot afford to buy my own dream house yet, I will focus on redesigning our ancestral house which has been a home for my siblings and I for what seems like eons of time. I have mentioned in my previous blog that we are already finished with the renovation and repair of the kitchen so our next project is the living room. Everybody decided to preserve the old look of the living room. We just need to add exterior window shutters to give it a distinct and modern look. I was advised that a Reclaimed Wood Shutters will be perfect for this house but its rustic look gives me a chill in my bones. Besides the Louvered Exterior Cedar Shutters look classy and lively compared to the distressed look of the reclaimed wood shutters. I have also checked several designs of window shutters online but this one really caught my eye. I have asked my siblings what they think of this particular design and they also voted for the Louvered Exterior Cedar Shutters. And just like my dream house, window boxes will be installed to add more colors to the house. 

 

It may take eons of time for me to save all the money I could earn to have my own dream house. But I am willing to wait that look. Besides "good things come to those who wait".
