Your Home, A Good Investment

 

Spending your hard earned money to your home is a great investment. It is a lot better than spending it to gambling and other form of vices. You can also say it is wise spending. It is my regret though that I instead of spending my money in home improvement and home repairs, I spent it in gadgets and gizmos which depreciates as the years pass by. If I had invested it in home improvement and repair, we will not be having some problems right now with leaking and security. 

But I am wiser now. I made my home one of my priorities. I already have enough savings for the renovation and repair of our home which has not been renovated for eons of time. As I mentioned in one of my blogs, the kitchen in bad shape and badly needs a repair. It is leaking almost everywhere in the house as well. I am just glad that my brother knows carpentry and is willing to fix the house at no charge. My aunt also offered us a loan for the house which I am really grateful for. In a few days, the construction hardware will be delivered. I also made several purchases online such as exterior shutters, wall lamps and other lighting fixtures, window and door trim, several exterior shutter hardware and some flowerboxes. I am just glad to know that they are available online. They exterior shutters, window and door trim and flowerboxes were my aunts suggestions. According to her, these will not only complement windows but secure it at the same time.

There is nothing extravagant in spending money for your home because it is the place you go home to everyday. Besides it is going to be the home of your children and your children's children.
