Environment For Self-Healing

According to medical experts, man can heal on his own. This can be achieved through meditation, massage, breathing exercises. However, our environment also plays a very important factor in the healing process of a patient. We must be surrounded with beautiful things such as a beautiful garden which can draw a positive response from the patient. Breathing clean and fresh air can also be a huge help to the healing process of the patient. It also helps when we are surrounded with people who care about us especially our love ones. Moreover, the patients healing environment must be free from noise, stress and things that can be upsetting. These are definitely the things which we need to avoid if we have patients at home.

I have been a patient once too. But I have never been admitted to any hospitals. Hospitals and clinics scare me. If I can help it I do not want to go to any hospitals and clinics. I would rather stay at home where I am comfortable and surrounded by my family. My grandmother hates hospitals too and refuses to be admitted in any hospitals. We are just lucky though that several of my aunts and uncles are practicing medicine. So they check up on grandmother if she really needs medical assistance. Recently, we have Bahama and Bermuda Shutters installed in all windows as advised by a good family friend. The Bahama and Bermuda Shutters allow fresh air into our home which is good for my grandmother’s health. The exterior window shutters also allow minimal sunlight into her bedroom. What I like about the window shutter, is that it is adjustable and it also provides privacy. My grandmother like them too since they complement the window box which we bought some time ago.

We all need a clean and beautiful environment. It does not only help patients heal on their own. It also helps promote positivity even to healthy people.
