The safety of our family is one of the top priorities of
every family oriented person. It is what
we always pray for especially when we are not with them. However, no matter how
we try hard, there are a lot of people who want to cause harm to our love ones.
Yesterday, when I visited my grandmother, her nurse told me
that they were almost burglarized two nights ago. If not for their neighbor’s
ten year old son who was studying at that time told his mom that there seem to
be someone at our veranda and was trying to open one of the windows my
grandmother and her nurse could have been hurt. Our brave neighbors called the attention
of the homeowners’ security team who were patrolling nearby to check our house.
Thankfully, no harm was done. My grandmother and her nurse were not even aware
of what happened until the security team informed them of the attempted
burglary. We are also thankful that the exterior shutters which were recently
installed are of a big help. Since were made sure to be locked every night, the
burglar had a hard time breaking in. Except for a small scratch on the lower
portion of the fiberglass
bahama style shutters which the burglar attempted to pry open, the
exterior shutter is still in good condition.
